Santa came!!

They're awake!! They all got what they asked for. We of course helped Cache with his request. He now has his own chair instead of having to sit in Aleah's princess chair. Makes no difference to Cache, but it makes Dad feel better.

Cache looks pretty grouchy for it being Christmas morning.

Aleah has been wanting a doll house for sometime now (MOM TOO, I didn't have one when I was a kid).

Jayden loves pirates and animals. Any dinosaur or animal that swims in the ocean. Pirate ships always involve a scary blood thirsty shark.

Christmas Morning Memories

Blankets they got from their Aunt, Uncle and cousins. Of course Aleah threw up on hers the first day.

"I found my stocking Mom, did Santa bring me candy?"

Jayden played with his ship ALL DAY LONG. The family went downstairs to watch a Christmas movie and Jayden declined to come with us. I almost thought, "he must be sick."

Aleah spent a lot of her time on the couch since she wasn't feeling well. Cache took advantage of the opportunity he had to play with Aleah's doll house.

The night before Christmas and all through the house, there's 3 little kids NOT acting like a mouse...

Every Christmas Eve we decorate cookies for Santa. Of course in the process we eat a few. Jayden and Aleah didn't get the concept of not licking their fingers and knifes. With sickness going around our home we didn't want everyone to get sick.

Chistmas Eve we also make our own personal pizzas however we like. The kids love this. How often do kids get to make their own pizza??? ( Not very often in our house...)

We open one gift on Christmas Eve too. It's always PJ'S!!

GOOD NIGHT!! WE'RE OFF TO BED SO SANTA WILL COME!

TWISTED CHRISTMAS

So we're alittle backwards, let me explain. I bought a gingerbread house for Christmas last year and forgot about it. As I was cleaning out the closet last May, guess what I found? Yep, our gingerbread house. So we decorated it in May!!! The kids enjoyed it!! After Halloween this year Jay bought this haunted house thinking it would be fun to do for Christmas. The kids were so excited to decorate it, they didn't care what it looked like!

Of course after we finished decorating our haunted house the kids wanted to eat some. The black frosting didn't look very appetizing to me, but in this picture you can see they enjoyed it.

Happy Halloween & Merry Christmas

In with the "NEW" & out with the old!

Believe it or not, this picture was very inspiring!!
Back in October, my Bunco group decided we'd dress up for Halloween. So here I am as a GOTHIC girl. The night of Bunco I freaked some people out pretty good. At first a lot of them did not recongnize me. It was pretty interesting to experience what it's like to be on the DARK side. I'm glad it was for only one night. Back to the inspiring part. As you can tell I sprayed my hair black to get the full effect. Looking at myself in the mirror, I thought " I really likes this!" If it wasn't for this night I don't ever think I would have done what you're about to see.

Before....

After!!!!!

I absolutely love it. What do you think? Merry Christmas to Karie (& Jay). I give all credit to my girlfriend Amy Bennett. She knows what she's doing.

P.S.

Thanks Mom and Dad!!

FETCH DOGGIE!

Fetch Doggie

Got it!
Trying to get the ball in his mouth to bring it back!
This is Cache's favorite thing to play. He acts like a dog, barks like a dog, talks about dogs, carries around his stuffed dog and LOVES to read books about dogs. He's a FREAK about dogs until he comes face-to-face with one. If theres a fence or something between them, he's okay. When we go to Aleah's gymnastics I end up holding him most of the time.(her teacher also trains dogs) Hopefully he'll grow out of it.

Our Gymnist!!

ALEAH'S
BRIDGE
THIS IS ALEAH'S FAVORITE, THE BARS
HERE, KIIM (TEACHER) IS HAVING ALEAH SHOW THE CLASS HOW TO DO A BEGINING RUN AND JUMP ,AS IF SHE WERE GOING TO JUMP OVER THE HORSE.
OKAY , NOT SURE WHAT SHE IS DOING HERE. I THINK SHE MIGHT BE PRACTICING HER LANDING. COOL PICTURE HUH! I'M A GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER. NOT REALLY, JUST CHANCE.

ALEAH HAS BEEN IN GYMNASTICS FOR 3 MONTHS AND SHE IS PROGRESSING FAST. WE MAY HAVE FOUND ALEAH'S NITCH.
WHEN SHE WAS IN BALLET SHE NEVER PRACTICED OR TALKED ABOUT IT, BUT GYMNASTICS IS A DIFFERENT STORY. SHE'S CONSANTLY PRACTICING IN THE FRONT ROOM. "WATCH ME MOM, WATCH ME!" SHE ALSO LIKES TO TELL ME HOW SHE'S BETTER THAN ME BECAUSE SHE IS MORE FLEXIBLE. HEY, WHERE'S THE COMMENTS THAT HELP BUILD MY CONFIDENCE?

Head to Toe!!!

STEP 1STEP 2
STEP 3

AND SHEEEE DID IT!!!!

ALEAH HAS BEEN TRYING FOR SO LONG TO LEARN HOW TO DO A HEAD STAND. HER GYMNASTICS TEACHER TOLD HER TO PRACTICE AGAINST A WALL AND THEN GRADUALLY SHE'LL MOVE INTO THE CENTER OF THE ROOM. SHE'S GETTING CLOSER! SHE'S PROUND OF HERSELF. IT'S FUNNY. AS SHE IS PRACTICING, CACHE WILL BE RIGHT BY HER SIDE TRYING TOO. I TRIED FOR A PICTURE OF THAT BUT HE WOULDN'T COOPERATE.

Wishing all a simple and joyful holiday!

Sending you some of our joy and sweetness. These 3 are blessings to us like every parent knows. We are thankful we've been blessed with these special spirits...
Cache
Aleah
Jayden-not the best picture but it will do.

The kids were really good for me. I took them out in the bitter cold with out coats and ordered them around like a drill Sargent. It must not have ruined them too much, they're still smiling. They appeared to have a good time, I was glad when it was over.

This is the real them. They keep Jay and I laughing and smiling. They also help us feel young. We love their energy and spunt.

Hoping you find yourself doing well this Christmas season. We miss those a far and enjoy the company of those near by. May the Lord bless you with all you need.
Love Jay, Karie, Jayden, Aleah and Cache
