Mom's side kick

Saturday, I was mudding the drywall under our stairs. Cache decided he wanted to help me, " I paint too mom." Of course I explained to him not to touch anything especially his clothes. Well I'm not too sure if you can see it, but his pants are covered.......

Can you see the mud in his hair? We had a great time, I enjoyed having my little one by my side. Cache is probably the biggest helper of them all. He loves to be right in the middle of things helping out.

So I've been Inspired....

Tonight I caught up on looking at other's blogs and I was starting to feel bad about my own. I have lost the desire alittle. I've been wrapped up with my scrapbooking. For my birthday I got some new cool stuff. But here I am staying up late just to add some new and exciting events.
*****FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL*****

Jayden's first day of the 2nd grade.... Jayden wasn't too excited to start school. I think he could have gone another couple months, NOT MOM!!!

Aleah's first day of Kindergarten. She was soooo big. She decided she wanted to ride the bus home with Jayden instead of having me pick her up. On the way to school the second day, she asked me to just drop her off and leave.... She has always been my independent one.... I'm proud of her..

The walk home from the bus stop, they look beat!! We only live 2 blocks from the bus stop!!!

*****FARMER'S MARKET***

So we've lived in Grand Junction for almost 6 yrs now and this was our first time to the farmer's market. Pathetic, I know. It was an eye opener for me. I'm use to my own bubble life that I've lost what reality is for the rest of the world. I've never seen so many tattoos, piercings, crazy hair dos, and just out of this world clothing.... I told Jay, I like living in my bubble. You'd think I never grew up in SEATTLE. I guess when your not around it you forget about it!!! We did have a good time. Of course the kids liked all the food!!! (Jay and I too)

*****Play Time*****

Cache at bedtime with a pull-up on his head. I think he forgot which end it goes on.
Jayden and Cache wrestling. It looks like Jayden may be whippin Cache, but let me tell you, Cache may be little but looks can be deceiving. He is one tough dude.

Aleah and Cache These two are such good friends

Summer days in the sun

Anybody want "smore"

Last Friday Jay decided he wanted to make a fire pit in our backyard and roast hot dogs and smores. We had the activies and feel of camping right in our own backyard. We only lost a few marshmellows!!

Our kids love to go camping, I only wish we could take them more often. Hopefully this will help with their memories......
