Exciting "November" News

First Grade Thanksgiving Feast

Jayden and his friends celebrating their understanding of Thanksgiving. They had a short play before eating, the kids made all of their food. With help of course.
We went to Jayden's school to observe this event with him. You can see what Cache was more excited about. He seems to always find a ball wherever he goes.
Can't wait another day.

Jayden and Aleah know the day after Thanksgiving means "Christmas time". They couldn't wait another day to make their Santa houses...

Jayden's finished project!!!!

Aleah's finished project!!

Just Hangin'

We got our lights up a few days after Thanksgiving because Jay got tired of the kids asking.

Watch out

We have needed to replace this wall since we moved in, we finally finished our other projects, so we were ready to "HIT" this one. Jayden and Aleah loved the idea of helping (this sort of thing is right down Jayden's alley, he loves to destroy things). Cache wouldn't have a thing to do with it.
Look at them go...

KIDZ PLEX

Aleah's pre-school class had a field trip to KIDZ PLEX. The ball pit is Aleah and Cache's favorite place to play.
Aleah also likes climbing the wall.

Craziness in our home!!

Cache showing us how he can stand on his head!!!

Aleah, our "special girl"! She thought it was pretty cool that she could look cross-eyed.

Jayden looks alittle puzzled!!! He finished this 300 piece puzzle ALL BY HIMSELF, we were excited and so was he.

Look forward to our December news!!! Love the Harmon Family!

(I'll get better at remembering to turn my pages, the more I do it. Be patient)

Our Feast has arrived!!

My kids were so excited for Thanksgiving, they were willing to help so I took advantage of it.Cache and Jayden helping me peel potatoes..
Cache, Aleah and Jayden mashing the potatoes. They all LOVE mash potatoes.
The feast has begun.... This is a picture of our family on Jay's side.
Cache enjoying his turkey and mash potatoes
Andy and Jill trying to get Karter to look at the camera
Tiffany, Doug and Raleigh. Where's Sandon??
Oh, there he is. He's busy eating with Aleah.
Jayden, Mom and Aleah eating our yummy pie, no pumkin for us!

Cache telling his cousin Raleigh to wait her turn. Bossy little guy!!!

This was my first year cooking Thanksgiving dinner at my house. It was alot of fun. I didn't get stressed out at all. It helped having Jay take the older two shooting with him and his brothers. It gave me more time to get ready without having little ones needing me. We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving holiday!!!

Goose on the loose!!

We took the kids to the lake to feed the ducks, boy were we in for a surprise!!!
Cache watched in amazement as the geese walked past him.
Our sweet Aleah was pretty darn brave. As you can see though, see's alittle unsure what to think about the goose getting so close to her.
Geese were everywhere and they weren't shy. They came within arms reach.
SMILE!!!The kids decided to climb on the picnic table to get away from the geese.
After feeding the ducks and geese, we went for a walk around the lake. The kids thought this tree was pretty cool and wanted to climb it. Who would have thought we'd be at the lake feeding the ducks in the middle of November?
See ya, The Harmon's
