Our summer so far......

The month of June has been pretty eventful for us. So far July is looking pretty slow. We went to the Mariner's game when they were playing in Denver. Wish we could say they won. The kids loved singing the song, "Take me out to the ball game". We had an interesting time. We had tornato weather warnings so the whole statium had to evacuate until it was safe to return. The rest of the game was beautifully sunny!!

Aleah and Jayden expressing their feelings
Jayden wanted a new bike, so we told him if he earns enough, we'll pay the other half. I have never seen this work so diligent. For the next 3 days he continued asking me what chore he could do next. I got to the point where I had to start making things up. But he did it. This was a proud moment for Jayden (us too).

Tiffany this is for you!!! Did you know Doug looked so natural in pink?
( I told you I'd do it, Doug)

Aleah's Dance Show, she was in a tap/ballet class. She liked both but loved TAP because of the noisey shoes. I think next year we'll put her in hip-hop.
First in ballet, than tap pictures. She is on the far left in all pictures.

I'm back!!

For those of you who haven't given up on me, these are for you.......
Here is a run down of what we've been up to the last 5 months!!

Jayden wrestling his first match. Jayden did much better on the mat
than at practice, we were pleasantly surprised..

Fun for Jayden's 8th Birthday. We took him bowling as a
family and he invited one friend, Tyler Kidd.

For spring break the kids and I went to Seattle for the first time
in 3 1/2 yrs. This was the first time ALL 21 grandchildren have
been together at one time. It was a mad house but also a lot of fun. We went to the Great Wolf Lodge (HUGE indoor water park) with my family. It would have been perfect if Jay was there with us and if Cache was a yr or two older. He was pretty clingy, but what can I say, he loves his mom. When we visit familyit makes me wish we lived closer, not in Seattle though. We also saw G & G Harmon. They took us to Chuck E Cheese for Jayden and Cache's birthdays, then on Sunday we went to church with them and celebrated with Cake and Ice Cream.

These are just a few of the Biddulph/Penz cousins.

This is all of them!!!!!
I can't believe I am old enough to have a kid in cub scouts. Jayden is
really excited to be involved. This was at his "Pinewood Derby" activity. I think next year he will be a lot more in to it now that he knows what it's like. He came in 4th, not too bad.
Cache's 3rd Birthday
He has grown up so fast. Of course it's fun seeing him
tag alone with Jayden and Aleah and want to do what they do, yet it's
going too fast considering he is our last..
Jayden recieved an award at school for greatest improvement in his writing.
His teacher Mrs. Ellis calls him her "3rd grade writer" Jayden is pretty
proud of that and he should be, he works really hard.
Jayden's baptism
Wow, this kid is a spiritual giant. He amazes me with the
questions and comments he has to say about the gospel. We've
had some pretty cool talks!!!!

Some of the Harmon family that were able to make it to Jayden's
baptism along with my Dad and Saundra.
Easter started out with coloring eggs with Teyah and Ryder
Longtin.
Aleah thought it would be pretty neat to have both the Easter bunny and
the Tooth fairy to come visit.
Easter Morning before church. Cache wasn't wanting to
cooperate for the pictures, he was having a bad morning.
After church
Not sure what they were trying to be. But it was still cute.
Kids wanted to play hide-n-seek and this is where I found them.
Another season of baseball. This year is Coach pitch, no more T-ball.
(well, until Aleah or Cache want to play)

Until next time......... I'm not promising any dates.......
